CHICAGO and NEW YORK – Oct 6, 2016 – Nielsen Catalina Solutions (NCS), the leader in purchase-based targeting and return on ad spend measurement for the CPG industry, today announced several senior hires and promotions for roles focused on expanding digital and programmatic capabilities and supporting advertiser and brand clients in the new media landscape.
Andrew Goldberg joins the team as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development, serving Fortune 500 advertisers, media agencies, programmatic platforms, publisher partners and TV networks. Goldberg comes to NCS from Synacor, where he spent five years building, leading and managing its programmatic and direct media sales platforms.
Ed Kim joins NCS as Vice President of Product and Strategy, responsible for development and evolution of the company’s programmatic solutions and strategy. Previously, Ed oversaw digital media for L’Oreal and Unilever, where he has a proven track record of developing digital marketing and advertising strategies using data analytics to increase return on investment.

In addition, Meredith Spector has joined NCS as Vice President of Marketing, most recently managing audience measurement reporting and analytics for Cablevision. Meredith brings a deep consumer insights background with over 25 years of industry experience developing and marketing consumer information products, including 11 years as the VP of marketing for Nielsen’s Homescan business.
NCS has also made the following senior level promotions:
- Anthony Wintheiser has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Client Consulting, where he has taken on the expanded role of leading a unified client organization across all client types.
- Lisa Rettinger has been promoted to Vice President of Channel Sales, where she will lead efforts with key digital publishers, mobile partners and media corporations.
- Alec Rivera has been promoted to Vice President of Programmatic Strategy, and is tasked with building and scaling NCS’ programmatic solutions.
